A16z's AI Studio Promises Partnership with Google

On May 21st, Promise, a generative AI studio, announced a partnership with Google to integrate Google's AI technology into its production pipeline and Muse workflow software. The collaboration will also include researchers from Google's DeepMind.
The startup, backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), has received additional investment from Google AI Futures Fund, Crossbeam Venture Partners, and the North Road Company, led by former News Corp president Peter Chernin.
Founded by George Strompolos, Jamie Byrne, and Dave Clark, Promise aims to use generative AI tools to help Hollywood studios reduce production costs and accelerate content creation. It is currently working with industry stakeholders to develop a multi-year content plan.
