Japanese long-end government bond yields have soared

Japan's 20-year bond yield jumped to 2.555%, its highest level since October 2000. Japan's 30-year bond yield rose 13 basis points to a record high of 3.10% after the invite-tenders multiple for 20-year government bonds hit its lowest level since 2012. The multiple was 2.50, down from 2.96 at the invite-tenders last month.
