South Korean actress Hwang Jung-in has been edited out of the final episode of the SBS Plus reality show Single Is Hell after admitting to embezzling $3.10 million (about 4.34 billion won) from her company to invest in cryptocurrency. "Hwang Jung-in's video footage will not appear in the final episode, which airs tonight at 8.30pm," the production team said on Tuesday, according to local media reports. "Her comments as host will also be minimised."
Previously, Hwang Jung Yin testified in the Jeju District Court last Thursday, admitting to embezzling about 3 million dollars (about 4.20 billion won) from her wholly-owned family-run business to buy cryptocurrencies.
South Korean prosecutors indicted her under the South Korean Law on Aggravated Penalties for Specific Economic Crimes.
