The chairperson of the US Digital Assets Subcommittee has cancelled his meeting with Ripple CEO and will not be rescheduled

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said in a post on the X platform that he traveled to Washington, D.C. to advocate for sound pro-cryptocurrency legislation on stablecoins and market structures, calling on U.S. government officials to view cryptocurrencies the way they should be, but Senator Cynthia Lummis, chairperson of the U.S. Digital Assets Subcommittee, cancelled the meeting and will not reschedule. Brad Garlinghouse called on Cynthia Lummis to reconsider the meeting to jointly discuss how to make the United States the world's cryptocurrency capital.
