According to separate regulatory filings on Monday, the Securities Exchange Commission has extended its deadline to make decisions on multiple proposals for exchange-traded funds tracking Solana. The Securities Exchange Commission said it needed more time to digest legal and policy issues related to applications from 21Shares, Bitwise, VanEck and Canary Capital. However, the delays do not reflect the likelihood of regulators approving or rejecting the funds.
"The filing of a lawsuit does not indicate that the Commission has reached any conclusion on any of the issues involved," the Securities Exchange Commission said on Monday. "The Commission seeks and encourages interested parties to comment on the proposed rule change."
