Bitcoin miner Marathon Digital has announced that it will increase its hashrate target for 2024 from 35-37 EH/s to 50 EH/s. Fred Thiel, CEO of Marathon, said that considering the available capacity and hashrate after our recent acquisition, we now believe it is possible to double the size of the Marathon mining business in 2024.
Mr. Thiel said the company did not need to raise additional capital to meet its new target because it was "fully funded".
