Internet company user manager bribed and embezzled virtual currency to cash nearly 10 million yuan, sentenced to 12 years in prison

On May 19, the Haidian Court and the Internet Association of China recently released the "White Paper on Corruption Cases of Internal Personnel of Internet Enterprises" and released a typical case. In one case, a user manager of a network technology company introduced suppliers to cooperate in virtual currency business, accepted bribes and embezzled virtual currency to cash, and was eventually convicted by the court of accepting bribes and sentenced to nine years in prison; for the crime of embezzlement, sentenced to six years in prison, and decided to execute the fixed-term imprisonment of 12 years.
