The Israeli defense minister has confirmed that the leader of Hamas's military wing in the Gaza Strip has been killed

On May 18th local time, Israeli Defense Minister Katz told the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that "although there is no official confirmation, according to all indications, the leader of the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, Mohammad Sinwar, has been killed." Hamas has not confirmed the above news. Mohammad Sinwar is the younger brother of the late Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.
