According to the Washington Post, the upcoming TRUMP dinner on May 22 will connect Trump with a group of "deep pocket" (well-funded) cryptocurrency participants from around the world. Some of them said they hoped to use the opportunity to influence Trump's views on crypto industry regulation or to gain other benefits by engaging with the US president. The vast majority of cryptocurrency holders who were invited to the dinner after the registration contest closed on Monday remain undisclosed to the public. Many of them use untraceable wallets, the source of which is unknown. They are also likely to remain anonymous when meeting with Mr. Trump - one crypto investor said he was told by event organizers that media or photography equipment would not be allowed at the dinner. At least six major holders of TRUMP coins have been publicly identified. Some have posted invitations on social media or disclosed large purchases in financial documents; others have left unique logos on the blockchain - which, while public, is mostly an anonymous record of transactions.
