The US Treasury's March 2025 International Capital Flow Report (TIC) shows that Japan increased its holdings of US Treasury bonds by 4.90 billion US dollars in March, and its holdings were 1.1308 trillion US dollars, still the largest creditor of the United States. < b > China reduced its holdings of US Treasury bonds by 18.90 billion US dollars to 765.40 billion US dollars in March, the first reduction this year. After the reduction, China's holdings of US Treasuries fell from second to third.
