Crypto market maker Wintermute has announced that it will open its first US headquarters in Lower Manhattan on June 1, naming policy veteran Ron Hammond as head of policy and advocacy. Evgeny Gaevoy, Wintermute's chief executive, said: "As US policy on digital assets and blockchain innovation becomes more friendly, we decided to move quickly to establish a presence in New York City, the financial capital of the world."
