According to Tech in Asia, Franklin Templeton has received approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to launch the "Franklin Online Chain USD Short-Term Money Market Fund". This will be Singapore's first tokenized fund for retail investors, with shares issued through the company's blockchain-integrated transfer agent platform, designed to increase transaction transparency, security, and efficiency. The fund has a minimum investment of only $20, significantly lowering the entry threshold for ordinary investors.
