Analysts at Deutsche Bank Research Center said in a note that the Federal Reserve is likely to keep policy rates on hold until December, before easing policy further next year. "Our underlying assumption remains that the next rate cut is in December, followed by two more cuts of 25 basis points each in Quarter 1, 2026." The easing of tensions between China and the United States reduces the risk of further deterioration in the U.S. labor market, but other tariff measures could keep inflation at uncomfortably high levels, analysts said.
