U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Commissioner Summer Mersinger plans to step down, May 30 is her last day at the CFTC, and will take over as CEO of the Blockchain Association on June 2, TheBlock reported. Summer Mersinger was nominated by former President Joe Biden to serve as a Republican commissioner of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and was sworn in in March 2022.
