US stocks close: Nasdaq up 1.6% Nvidia up more than 5%

On May 14, news, U.S. stocks closed on Tuesday, the Dow index initially closed down 0.6%, the S & P 500 index rose 0.7%, and the Nasdaq index rose 1.6%. Tesla (TSLA. O) rose nearly 5%, NVIDIA (NVDA. O) rose 5.6%, Apple (AAPL. O) rose 1% and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM. N) rose nearly 4%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index fell slightly, Alibaba (BABA. N) fell 0.7% and JD.com (JD. O) rose more than 3%.
