GFO-X, a cryptocurrency derivatives trading platform licensed by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), has officially launched in the UK to provide centrally cleared bitcoin futures and options trading services. The platform is designed to meet the needs of 90% of institutional investors who are currently unable to participate in the digital asset space due to regulatory or market structure issues.
Arnab Sen, CEO of GFO-X, revealed that dozens of Tier 1 institutions and banks, including Nomura Securities, are in the process of settling in, and the platform has completed the first institutional transaction between Virtu Financial and IMC.
