Curve: The smart contract was not hacked, the impact is limited to the DNS layer

On May 13, the DeFi protocol Curve released a follow-up announcement to the "official website DNS hijacking" incident early this morning: neither smart contracts nor internal systems were hacked, the protocol itself remained operational and secure, and user funds were safe. The incident did not affect the infrastructure of the protocol and was limited to the DNS layer. Users still need to avoid interacting with the affected domain names until the official update is released through Curve Finance's certified communication channel.
