On May 13, the Radiant DAO community released a proposal to compensate for the loss of unlimited authorization vulnerabilities. The proposal includes compensation for the loss of unlimited authorized users (involving Arbitrum and BNBChain) caused by the October 16, 2024 vulnerability, $7.70 million in 2024, and $1.20 million in Quarter 1 in 2025.
Compensation will be issued in the form of stablecoins, with a 30% discount on losses in 2024 and a 60% discount in 2025, with a lower priority than depositor compensation (RFP-47). The community needs to vote on the source of funding, with options including DAO and partner sharing or no compensation.
