All three major U.S. stock indexes closed sharply higher

The three major U.S. stock indexes all ended sharply higher. The Nasdaq rose 4.35%, the S & P 500 rose 3.26%, both hitting new closing highs since March 3; the Dow rose 2.81%, hitting a new closing high since March 27. Most large technology stocks rose, Amazon rose more than 8%, Meta rose more than 7%, Apple and Tesla rose more than 6%, Nvidia rose more than 5%, Google and Intel rose more than 3%, Microsoft rose more than 2%; Netflix fell more than 2%.
