After US prosecutors sought a three-year prison sentence for Binance's founder, Changpeng Zhao, issued an apology letter in which he apologized for the bad decisions of the past and accepted all responsibility, according to the CourtListener database. In the letter, Zhao Changpeng said that he should focus on addressing Binance's compliance issues from the beginning.
