5月10日讯，印方消息人士称，10日凌晨巴基斯坦在印控克什米尔地区发动炮击，造成一名印度政府高级官员死亡，随行两名工作人员受重伤。另据印度政府消息人士称，印度袭击了巴基斯坦的三个空军基地和部分哨所，在袭击中使用了空对地导弹和无人机。巴基斯坦在袭击中损失了大量空中力量。
