According to Cointelegraph, the LockBit ransomware gang's dark web affiliate panel was hacked, resulting in the leakage of nearly 60,000 bitcoin addresses. The addresses were linked to LockBit's ransomware infrastructure, and the leaked data included a MySQL database dump containing cryptocurrency-related information that could help blockchain analysts track the gang's illicit financial flows.
Although the addresses were exposed, no private keys were revealed. The leaked database contained 20 tables, including a "builds" table that recorded the versions of ransomware created by members of the group, and a "chats" table that recorded more than 4,400 negotiating messages with victims.
