YIEDL released an updated description of the hack on the X platform, YIEDL said,
A. Hackers attacked the new Y-Bull vault on BSc, worth about $300,000;
B. All SCs were extensively audited and tested by third parties prior to release, but attackers exploited a vulnerability in BSC integrated SCs that allowed for the redemption of small amounts of funds; this has been done multiple times via custom malicious SCs; unfortunately, the vulnerability was not discovered during the audit phase.
We are tracking the flow of stolen funds to the destination wallet and are looking for a partial/full recovery plan.
The incident has been reported to the Singaporean authorities.
One of the attackers' wallets received funds from addresses starting with 0x975d9B, and multiple security teams emphasized to us that the address belonged to the ChangeNow cryptocurrency exchange. We contacted them to obtain details about the attackers.
Yesterday, according to PeckShield monitoring, YIEDL (AI-powered Vaults project) was attacked, losing about 160,000 dollars.
