Michael Saylor again calls on Microsoft to buy bitcoin to avoid capital losses

Michael Saylor, chairperson of the board of directors of Strategy, reiterated his call for Microsoft to adjust its capital allocation strategy and should move away from bonds and share buybacks in favor of Bitcoin, which he believes will create more shareholder value while reducing corporate risk. Over the past five years, according to TradingView, Bitcoin has returned an average of 53% annually, compared to Microsoft's return of around 6%; Bitcoin is up more than 950%, while Microsoft is up about 148%. Saylor emphasized that Bitcoin is a liquid and fungible capital asset that can be used as a modern alternative to bonds.
