On May 7, Li Yunze, director of the State Administration of Financial Supervision, said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that the balance of real estate loans increased by more than 750 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year, including the largest single-quarter increase in new personal housing loans since 2022. Housing rental loans rose by 28% year-on-year.
