A Chinese woman has been charged with two counts of unlawful possession of cryptocurrency in the UK, according to the Financial Times. Yadi Zhang is accused of obtaining, using or possessing criminal property, known as cryptocurrency, in London and elsewhere in the UK from October 1, 2017 until Tuesday this week. Yadi Zhang denies the Crown Prosecution Service charges and made her first appearance at Westminster Magistrates Court on April 24.
