"May Day" holiday domestic travel 314 million

On May 6th, according to the data center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the number of domestic tourists 314 million during the 5-day holiday, an increase of 6.4% year-on-year; the total expenditure of domestic tourists on travel was 180.269 billion yuan, an increase of 8.0% year-on-year. The inbound and outbound tourism market is on the rise. Inbound tourism continues to recover, with Myanmar, South Korea, Malaysia, Australia, the United Kingdom, Thailand, the Philippines, Russia, Vietnam, and Japan as the main sources of inbound tourists, accounting for 57.4% of the total number of foreign tourists. Chongqing drone light show and Kuixing building attract a large number of inbound tourists clock in. Merchandising IP products represented by giant pandas are favored by foreign tourists.
