5月6日讯，也门胡塞武装5月4日发射导弹击中以色列的本-古里安国际机场区域后，以色列方面指责“胡塞武装的袭击（能力）源自伊朗”，并威胁称要对“幕后主使”伊朗发动袭击。对此，伊朗外交部发言人在5月5日的例行记者会上予以否认。
