US President Donald Trump made it clear in a TV interview broadcast on May 4 local time that he does not seek to continue as president after the end of his current term. In an interview on NBC's "Talk to the Press" TV program, Trump named both Vice President James Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, arguing that they are rising stars in the Republican Party who are expected to take over the conservative mantle and continue to advance the "Make America Great Again (MAGA) " policy agenda. Trump said in the program: I will be president for 8 years, two terms. (Kim Ten)
