According to Tokocrypto News, the USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund of BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, has invested around $2.70 billion in the Ethereum ecosystem, accounting for 92% of its total assets.
Launched in March 2024, the fund has grown rapidly from its initial $667 million to its current $2.70 billion. BUIDL is a tokenized money market fund that offers institutional investors the opportunity to invest in liquid assets such as US Treasuries and repurchase agreements, with each BUIDL token pegged 1:1 to the US dollar.
In addition to Ethereum, BlackRock is also expanding BUIDL to seven blockchain networks, including Solana, Aptos, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, and Polygon, to achieve greater efficiency and scalability.
