According to multiple sources, South Korea's ruling National Power Party presidential candidate and former Labor Minister Kim Moon-soo recently expressed the hope that the Korean National Pension Fund will be allowed to invest in bitcoin.
In his campaign policy, Kim proposed to allow the National Pension Service and the Korea Investment Corporation to invest in digital assets. The move is one of the cryptocurrency-related policies introduced by South Korea's ruling party ahead of the upcoming presidential election on June 3.
