On May 3 local time, according to Yahoo Finance, the Trump administration in the United States imposed more than $17.40 billion in "tariffs and certain excise taxes" in April. According to the report, this is almost double the $9.60 billion revenue in March and far more than anything Trump received during his first term. Since January 1, these tariffs have cumulatively injected more than $70 billion into the government. Trump previously said on the show that with billions of dollars in tariff revenue pouring in, the United States is "just getting started." (Golden Ten)
