About $7 million of the $330 million worth of BTC allegedly stolen from "OG Bitcoiner" earlier this week has been frozen.
ZachXBT first alerted on Sunday that a "suspicious" transfer of about 3,520 bitcoins, worth about $330 million at the time, was then laundered through more than half a dozen exchanges and exchanged for the privacy coin Monero. On Friday, ZachXBT also announced that it had identified two suspects. "The two suspects in this 330 million dollar scam are'Nina/Mo ', a Somali who runs a telephone scam center in Camden, UK, and an accomplice who assisted in scamming websites/phones,' W0rk '," ZachXBT posted on X. "They have deleted their social media accounts."
