Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has completed its acquisition of U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) registered futures broker NinjaTrader and reported a 19% year-over-year increase in its Quarter 1 revenue to $471.70 million. Acquiring NinjaTrader will give Kraken's U.S. clients access to the traditional derivatives market, in line with its plans to expand its product range and become the platform of choice for all types of trading, in what is said to be the largest transaction between cryptocurrencies and traditional financial firms to date.
