Eric Trump, the second son of US President Donald Trump, said that the US dollar stablecoin (USD1) issued by World Liberty Financial has been officially selected as the official stablecoin to complete MGX's $2 billion investment in Binance.
Speaking at the Token2049 event in Dubai, Mr. Trump said: "We thank MGX and Binance for their trust in us and I think this is just the beginning."
Earlier this year, Abu Dhabi-based investment firm MGX announced it would invest $2 billion to buy a stake in Binance.
