Prominent cryptocurrency investor Anthony Pompliano has filed for a $200 million IPO in the form of a SPAC called ProCap Acquisition Corp. The SPAC aims to target high-growth companies in the fintech and digital assets space.
Mr. Pompliano, a former head of product at Facebook and former co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital, now runs Professional Capital Management. ProCap's management team includes professionals with backgrounds in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and digital asset compliance.
