Robinhood's crypto revenue doubled year-on-year in the first quarter

Robinhood reported Quarter 1 earnings for 2025. Quarterly cryptocurrency trading revenue reached $252 million, an increase of 100% year-on-year, but down from $358 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. Crypto trading volume during the same period was $46 billion, down from $70 billion in the previous quarter. Total crypto trading volume for the full year of 2024 was $141 billion, mainly driven by the surge in the fourth quarter. Company revenue rose 50% year-on-year to $927 million, and diluted EPS was $0.37, an increase of 10% year-on-year.
