Report: Crypto Industry Lost $92.50 million in April Due to DeFi Breach

According to The Block, according to the latest report of web3 security service platform Immunefi, the crypto industry lost $92.50 million due to DeFi vulnerabilities in April 2025, an increase of 27.3% year-on-year. Among them, UPCX and KiloEx two incidents suffered the largest losses, losing $70 million and $7.50 million respectively. Ethereum and BNB chains remain the most frequent targets of hackers, accounting for 60% of the losses in the whole month. At present, the stolen funds of KiloEx and ZKsync have been successfully recovered.
