Pudgy Penguins announced integration with Walrus Protocol to store and manage its growing digital media library, including stickers and GIFs for product and community experiences. The team will use 1TB of decentralized storage through Tusky, Walrus' user-friendly file management tool, with plans to expand to 6TB in the next 12 months.
Pudgy Penguins previously used a centralized storage solution and faced the challenges of long-term access and alignment with decentralized principles. Walrus addresses these issues by providing permanent, decentralized storage, ensuring assets are always accessible and verifiable. Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz says Walrus makes it easy for his team to upload, organize, and share content.
