Sonic Labs: Native USDC and CCTP V2 will be launched on the Sonic blockchain

According to the official news, Sonic Labs announced that the native USDC and CCTP V2 will be launched on the Sonic blockchain. After the upgrade, the bridge USDC (USDC.e) will be automatically converted to the original USDC without code changes or asset exchanges. It is reported that the relevant upgrade may take 1 week. It is expected that the Sonic Gateway Ethereum and Sonic inter-chain USDC (USDC.e) bridging activities will be suspended on May 6 to realize the upgrade to the native USDC.
