With the Neo ecosystem launching its next-generation blockchain, Neo N3, in 2021, Neo has decided to shut down the Neo Legacy network in 2025.
The Neo Legacy testnet will be shut down on June 1st, and the mainnet will be shut down on October 31st. Users need to migrate their assets and smart contracts to Neo N3 before closing, or they will be lost forever.
