Hyperliquid's official post said that the new fee system and pledge level will be launched at approximately 03:00 (UTC) on May 5th. The changes include:
1. Pledging HYPE can reduce transaction fees;
2. Perpetual contracts and spot goods will adopt different handling fee standards.
3. The spot transaction volume is counted in double when calculating the fee level.
The staking and trading account binding feature is now live on the testnet. This allows users to apply a staking discount from one account to another trading account. The feature is expected to go live shortly after the new fee system and staking tier go live.
