Fintech companies CompoSecure, Baanx, and MetaMask will launch MetaMask metal payment cards globally in the second quarter.
The MetaMask Metal Card allows users to make payments directly from their self-hosted MetaMask wallet, without the need to pre-deposit, exchange cryptocurrencies for fiat, or rely on a centralized trading platform. All transactions are authorized in five seconds through smart contracts. Users are required to save their cryptoassets in an on-chain wallet on the Linea network.
