Swiss supermarket chain Spar plans to support bitcoin payments throughout Switzerland

Spar Supermarket, a large Swiss supermarket chain, plans to fully launch Bitcoin payments in Switzerland after a successful Bitcoin payment pilot. Spar's Zug branch began accepting Bitcoin payments via the Lightning Network in early April, using DFX Swiss' OpenCryptoPay platform, an open peer-to-peer standard designed for face-to-face crypto transactions.
