Paulgrewal.eth, Coinbase's chief legal officer, wrote on the X platform: "I have been unable to understand why employees of the Securities Exchange Commission are required to prohibit the holding or use of digital assets, and any potential conflicts are easily handled, so I have written to the US Office of Federal Government Ethics to withdraw and update Legal Advisory 22-04, and to ask the Securities Exchange Commission Cryptocurrency Working Group to issue an immediate exemption."
