On April 25th, BYD announced that the amount of foreign exchange derivatives trading business to be carried out by the company and its holding subsidiaries will be increased from the equivalent of 5 billion US dollars to the equivalent of 10 billion US dollars, and the term of use of the quota will be within 12 months from the date of consideration and approval of the matter at the 18th meeting of the Eighth Board of Directors. The above amount can be recycled and rolled over during the period, but the investment balance at any point in the period does not exceed the equivalent of 10 billion US dollars; the foreign exchange derivatives involved only occupy the credit line of the company and its holding subsidiaries in the Cooperative Financial Institution Group, and do not need to pay a deposit. The credit line expected to be occupied at any point during the authorization period will be increased from no more than 250 million US dollars to no more than 500 million US dollars. The types of derivatives transactions that the company and its holding subsidiaries plan to conduct foreign exchange derivatives trading include: forwards, swaps, options and related portfolio products.
