CoinGecko survey: 87% of crypto users are willing to let AI manage some assets

According to the latest CoinGecko survey, although 37.5% of cryptocurrency users express that they do not trust AI to manage their crypto wallets, 87.1% of respondents are still willing to let AI agents manage at least one-tenth of their portfolios. Notably, 14.5% of respondents (about one in seven) are even willing to put their entire crypto assets under the control of AI. Market views remain divided on the trading capabilities of AI, with about half believing that AI is superior to humans in most situations, while the other half have reservations. When it comes to short-term trading, 48.7% are optimistic about AI's performance, while 46.6% are supportive when it comes to long-term investing. The survey, conducted between February and March 2025, involved 2,632 crypto participants from around the world, of whom 51% were long-term investors and 26% were short-term traders.
