The Los Angeles Police Department cracked a theft case and seized $2.70 million worth of bitcoin mining machines. Other stolen items included tequila, pet food and coffee. Two suspects related to South American criminal gangs were arrested. It is reported that the case investigation is still ongoing. More suspects may be arrested in the future. At present, the Los Angeles Police Department has not disclosed how to dispose of these bitcoin mining machines.
