Ki Young Ju, CryptoQuant's chief executive, wrote: "The previous bull cycle has ended, but the price of Bitcoin is now up 10% from that time. I think the market is still in a wide range, and if it breaks through $100,000, it will admit that the judgment is wrong."
Ki Young Ju said its focus is on long-term supply and demand based on on-chain data. But in markets that are currently sensitive to Trump's remarks, short-term price action is more event-driven, making analysis with cyclical on-chain indicators more difficult. He added that if Bitcoin hits a record high before the fourth quarter, it will abandon the cyclical theory because it means the market may have fundamentally changed.
