More than 100 US universities join forces to oppose Trump administration's "excessive intervention"

More than 100 US universities, including Princeton University and Brown University, issued a joint letter on the 22nd opposing the Trump administration's "excessive interference" in the education system, arguing that these interventions are threatening higher education. "We welcome constructive reform and do not oppose legitimate government oversight, but oppose inappropriate government interference in the study, life and daily lives of staff on campus," the joint letter signed by the presidents of each university said.
